Feed Comment WP-PageNavi: Adds a more advanced paging navigation your WordPress blog.
Installation Instruction:
- Open wp-content/plugins Folder
- Put:

Random Redirect: Allows you to create a link to yourblog.example.com/?random which will redirect someone to a random post on your blog, in a StumbleUpon-like fashion. You can also specific in the URL random_post_type or random_cat_id.
Homepage Excerpts Wordpress Plugin: We are all aware that Google and other search engines penalize websites that contain duplicate content. Ideally, therefore, the content of your posts should be displayed fully in one location only, and that is the single post page.
Installation Instruction
- Download and unzip the plugin
- ploade the file homepage-excerpts.php to your plugin directory. (Usuallylocated in wp-content/plugins/)
- Log into the Wordpress control panel, then go into “Plugins” and activate the plugin
- Still inside the Wordpress control panel go into “options” and then “Homepage Excerpts”
- Update the plugin options as appropriate
Popularity Contest README: Popularity Contest keeps a count of your post, category and archive views, comments, trackbacks, etc. and uses them to determine which of your posts are most popular. There are numerical values assigned to each type of view and feedback; these are used to create a ‘popularity score’ for each post.
The values assigned to each view and feedback type are editable and can be changed at any time. When you change any of these values, the ‘popularity score’ for all posts are updated immediately to reflect the new values.
Installation Instructions
- Download the plugin archive and expand it (you’ve likely already done this).
- Upload the popularity-contest.php file to your wp-content/plugins directory (not in a sub-folder).
- Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress Administration area and click ‘Activate’ for Popularity Contest. This will create the database table used by Popularity Contest.
- Congratulations, you’ve just installed Popularity Contest and it is now tracking data for you.
- Optional: go into Options > Popularity to modify the values of each view and feedback type.
- Optional: set up a CRON job to run the ‘reset feedback count’ script every night (see how to do this in the FAQ section).
Permalinks Migration: Many people want to change their permalink structure,for example, from /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ to /%category%/%postname%/
But doing so will make all pages indexed by search engines become invalid,moreover, losing visitors from other sites or bookmarks that links to you.
Installation Instruction
- unzip and upload the file into your wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate it on your Admin Panel->Plugin Management page.
